Job description:

  • Adaptable to flexible working hours. Willing to work long hours and standby including festive and public holiday if required

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable to ensure SLAs for the following IT processes are met. o Incident Management o Change Management o Availability Management o IT Service Continuity Management o Problem Management o Test Acceptance Management o Release Management o Demand Management o Service Request Management o Capacity Management • Incident Management
  • Participate in incident/Customer Complaints troubleshooting & service recovery, basic problem analysis, execute temporary workaround (low complexity) during interim period, and follow up with permanent solution
  • Problem management – Participate in selected forums with vendor for root cause analysis and permanent solutions. Implementation of permanent solution within predefined SLA
  • Corrective Maintenance – Perform test and verification on software patches/shipment/release. Participate in implementation of fixes in the test bed, staging and production systems
  • Change/Configuration Management : to perform low complexity configuration. Timely execution of all production activities with no human error. Seek improvement/automation in production process and daily production tasks.s Operation Readiness & stakeholder management – Participate in Operation Readiness Test, Work closely with ITA architect, Infra Arhictect, Planning, Stakeholder infra Lead e.g. Storage, EUC, LB, Backup/Restore, Wintel, DB, Network, OS SME, Vendor support onshore/offshore, Telenor Group SME & SDM • Preventive Maintenance – Perform daily preventive maintenance and health check on the assigned platforms. Ensure problems or issues are escalated, track or follow up for fixes. Perform basic troubleshoot on any issue found • To support adhoc, Festive and event based preparation, monitoring, execute contingencies during the events (plan activities, outages, festive and etc) and involve in post incident analysis • Perform software/hardware decommission, patching, installation, quick fix and upgrades in project managemenet, development, operation, task force & war room • Quality of Work – Complete within agreed time frame with good quality & minimum supervision/guidance • Quantity of Work – Complete within agreed time frame with good quality & minimum supervision/guidance • Initiative – at least 2 agreed initiative per year • Adherence to all new & existing SOPP and controls for the company.
  • Communications – Able to update with clear objective & fair confident
  • Knowledge sharing – Share knowledge among peers and coaching the junior
  • Required to standby for incident escalation and perform adhoc tasks • Monitors systems activities and fine tunes system parameters and configuration to optimize performance and ensure security of systems •
  • Performs capacity analysis, monitors, and controls usages of disk space
  • Provide recommendations for improving the server environment, such as capacity thresholds, security gaps, and patch levels
  • Develop procedures for routine administration including backup/restore, shutdown and startup document accordingly
  • Define procedures for monitoring and evaluates, diagnoses and establishes work plans to resolve system issue
  • Negotiate with vendors for effective delivery of services.
  • Take lead and deliver on the mandate on ISIT Infrastructure
  • Good knowledge in system administration (configuration, integration, production activity, etc) related to relevant fields.
    Especially in Redhat, Ubuntu, HP-UX, Linux, Solaris Container, Veritas Cluster, BCV, Openstacks, RHEV, Ansibles, HPDP & Veeams.
